WHAT is your favorite opening scene?
When I saw this prompt, this book immediately came to mind. When I first read it, I remember laughing out loud and then adding every book Rick Riordan had written at the time. In this book, the opening moment is when Percy pushes someone into a fountain and then he thinks he’s going into a room to get in trouble and it’s actually something completely different that happens. The whole thing is completely hilarious and its the reason I fell in love with this book and series!
